Day 01 Arrive Bhubaneswar

Assistance at Bhubaneswar Airport and Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit of Tribal museum & Khandagiri, Udaygiri Jain caves of 2nd Century BC. O/N Hotel.

 

Day 02: Bhubaneswar – Puri (100 km)

After breakfast visit Parasurameswar Temple (7th Century AD.), Mukteswar Temple (10th CenturyAD.), Rajarani Temple ( 11th Century AD.) and Lingaraj Temple ( 11th Century AD).After lunch drive to Puri en route visiting Dhauli ,Chousathiyogini temple &Pipili. Overnight at Puri.

 

Day 03: Puri – Konark - Puri (90 kms)

After breakfast drive to Konark visit Sun Temple , later walk to visit fishermen village, then drive to Puri along the marine drive to visit Jagannath temple .Overnight at Hotel in Puri.

 

Day 04: Puri – Chilka - Gopalpur (180 kms)

After breakfast drive to Gopalpurenrout visiting Raghurajpur artisan village and Chilka lake (Birds paradise), Overnight at hotel in Gopalpur.

 

Day 05: Gopalpur – Rayagada (240 kms)

Drive to Rayagada through Eastern ghats, enjoy the beauty of landscape and visit some villages of Kumuti, Saora&Kondh. Overnight at Hotel in Rayagada.

 

Day 06: Rayagada (100 kms One way)

Drive to Kotagarha market and visit some KutiaKondh villages. Overnight in Rayagada.( Must be on Tuesday)

 

Day 07: Rayagada – Chatikona – Jeypore (220 kms)

Morning drive to Chatikona Market to see DongriaKondh tribe, different from others with their distinct hair dresses & jewelery. After lunch drive to Jeypore, visiting Mali and Kondh tribal villages.Overnight inJeypore. ( Must be on Wednesday)

 

Day 08: Jeypore – Onkudeli - Jeypore (170 kms)

After breAfter breakfast drive to Onukudeli Market to see one of the most primitive tribe of the world, The Bondas & Gadabas. Overnight at Hotel.( Must be on Thursday)

 

Day 09: Jeypore – Kunduli – Jagdalpur (160 kms)

After breakfast transfer from hotel to Jagdalpur through Kunduli Tribal market, Kotpad weaving village and Dhurwa tribal market . O/N Bastar Jungal resort.( Must be on Friday)

 

Day 10: In Jagdalpur (100 kms)

Morning visit to Bison-horn Maria tribe, famous for their dance & hospitality. Afternoon visit to Kanger Valley national park and a market. Overnight.

 

Day 11: In Jagdalpur (120 kms)

Full day visit of Bastar area, Anthropological museum ,tribal villages and later Chittarkote waterfall . Overnight at jungle resort.

 

Day 12: Jagdalpur - Kanker (150 kms)

After breakfast drive for Kanker on the way visiting Kondagaon tribal craft village of Bell metal, Wrought iron and terracotta. Overnight at Kanker Palace.

 

Day 13: Kanker (100 kms)

Full day visit to Muria tribal villages, See the Ghotul system in their village and enjoy their wonderful food with local Trudy . Afternoon visit their market. Overnight at the palace.

 

Day 14: Kanker - Shivrinarayan (260 kms 5 hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Shivrinarayan en route visiting Different Gond tribal villages. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 15: Shivrinarayan (120kms)

Fullday visit of Ramanami people’s villages to see their culture & traditions. O/N at Hotel.

 

Day 16: Shivrinarayan – Bhoramdeo  (190kms 4hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Bhoromdeo on the way visiting malahar and baiga tribal villages, O/N Bhoromdeo Jungle retreat.

 

Day 17: Bhoramdeo (70 kms)

Full day visit to Gond & Baiga tribal villages with picnic lunch. Afternoon visit to Bhoramdeo temple. Overnight at Jungle retreat.

 

Day 18: Bhoramdeo - Kanha (120 kms)

After breakfast enjoy the sightseen of Bhoromdeo temples and later drive to Kanha national park. By evening, reach Kanha. Overnight at resort in Kanha national park.

 

Day 19: In Kanha

Attend morning & evening safari drives of Kanha national park. Here jungle and landscapes is more photogenic , Meadows are more and comparatively large. Similarly you have chance to see large herds of spotted deers grazing on meadows with some rare golden-yellow colored Barasingha. This is the major highlight of this tiger reserve. Kanha park feel proud on its successful reviving the population of Hard-ground Barasingha which was close to extinction in early seventies. Kanha offers better chance for wildlife photography than tiger photography. Animals like Indian Gaur, Wild Dogs, Barasingha, Sloth Bear, Sambar, Wild Boar can be seen & photographed easily. Here you have chance for long duration photography, video shooting etc. Images like tiger in water, walking on track, tigers playing etc. can be captured here. Overnight in Resort.

 

Day 20: Kanha - Raipur - Departure ( 200 kms 5 hrs Drive)

After breakfast departure transfer to Raipur airport for onward journey.
