Day 01: Saturday – Depart New Delhi

• Board the Deccan Odyssey and settle into your cabin
• Train departs for Sawai Madhopur
• Dinner on board.

Day 02: Sunday – Sawai Madhopur & Ranthambore Safari

• Breakfast on board
• Visit a local tribal home to understand Rajasthani village life
• Return to train for early lunch on board
• Afternoon jungle safari in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
• Spot tigers, deer, wild boars, sloth bears, and vibrant birdlife
• Return to Deccan Odyssey to relax in the bar lounge
• Train departs for Jaipur
• Dinner on board.

Day 03: Monday – Jaipur

• Breakfast on board
• Excursion to Amber Fort – royal halls, Sheesh Mahal, and lake views
• Lunch at a city hotel
• Visit City Palace Museum and photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
• Time for shopping – Jaipur textiles & gemstone jewelry
• Return to train and depart for Agra
• Dinner on board

Day 04: Tuesday – Agra

• Breakfast on board
• Visit Taj Mahal – eternal symbol of love
• Lunch at a city hotel
• Explore Agra Fort – Diwan-e-Am, royal pavilions, and Mughal architecture
• Visit local markets for marble inlay art and Mughal jewelry
• Return to Deccan Odyssey and depart for Varanasi
• Dinner on board

Day 05: Wednesday – Varanasi

• Breakfast on board
• Visit Sarnath – where Buddha preached his first sermon
• Lunch at a city hotel
• Heritage walk through Bazaars, Temples & Ghats
• Evening boat ride on Ganges River to witness the sacred Ganga Aarti
• Return to Deccan Odyssey for dinner on board
• Train departs for Khajuraho.

Day 06: Thursday – Khajuraho

• Breakfast on board
• Visit Chandela’s Temple Complex – famous for erotic sculptures
• Lunch at a city hotel
• Explore Kandariya Mahadeva Temple – architectural marvel
• Return to train for dinner on board
• Train departs for Orchha

Day 07: Friday – Orchha

• Morning visit to 16^th Century Orchha Fort Complex
• Return to Deccan Odyssey for lunch on board
• Afternoon village walk – meet locals and learn about their culture
• Indian cultural evening and dinner on board
• Train departs for New Delhi

Day 08: Saturday – Return to New Delhi

• Early breakfast on board
• Disembark by 0715 hrs at Safdarjung Railway Station
• Bid farewell to the Deccan Odyssey team
